TRUTH. It was especially awesome in, like, elementary school, because you knew the teacher would spend like 15 minutes trying to get the VCR to work before one of the 7-year-olds in the class got up and had the thing working in 5 seconds.

For the “30th Anniversary” edition of the Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark books, publisher Harper Collins got rid of all the awesome, creepy-as-shit original artwork by Stephen Gammell, and replaced it with lame, “family-friendly” stuff.
I heard about this at the bookstore the other day and wanted to weep. The artwork that accompanied this series was the shit that scared me the most.
Makes me glad I still have 2 volumes with the original art.

- Kelly - Then take that lemonade and throw it in the face of the person who gave you that stupid lemon to begin with.
- Zack - That is just dumb. Everyone knows ages 22-24 are the best years of your life. Unless you decide to go to law school. Then you are have ruined your life.
